A couple of days ago, I was looking at BMW X3's, determined that it was going to be my next car and there was this 2007 Cooper S on the lot that I drove while waiting for some information about one of the X3's. Something about that Cooper just got to me and I was ready to buy it instead of the X3. Well it turned out I couldn't afford that Cooper S.

I went home and scoured the internet trying to find a Cooper S that I could afford, but nothing was coming up... then I saw this plain Cooper!! It was a 2010 with less than 20,000 miles and just barely in my budget, if I could talk them down. I didn't have much hope because the car was really a long way away from what I could afford.

I wasn't sure I would like a non-S but figured I give it a try. It didn't have the sport package (way smoother ride without, by the way),the winter package and only had 15 inch wheels (they were 17 or 18's on the S that I tried earlier and it had both the above packages).

So as not to drag this story out, I came home with a beautiful (almost) new mini today. Very exciting!!!

Now it's time to get on the forum and see what I can find out about this new and interesting car.

Was out driving my 1995 Corvette yesterday when I went by this car lot that had a sweet 2006 black Mini convertible sitting out front. Stopped and test drove, I came home with the Mini and not the Corvette.
