Default New with Questions.....

Just bought a Mini Cooper S in Pepper White. Fully loaded and Absolutely love it!!! What I'm wondering is whether or not 18" wheels will fit under the mini without any modifications? It's a 2005. Thanks for any advice you have. Went from a 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport, lifted 7 inches with 35x12.50 BFG Mud Terrains. Tons of custom accessories. A blast ON the beach on any day. Now I'm the pround owner of a 2005 Mini Cooper S with lots of learning to do and lots of interest in customizing my car for performance and sweet looks!!!

Thanks in advance...

Here's my old Jeep...gonna miss it a bunch, but the gas savings with driving a mini are awesome!!

Welcome!

You can get 18's under it, MINI actually has a couple of OEM sets. The only thing is with that big of a wheel you don't have much rubber to protect the wheels from pot holes and stuff. Whatever size you go I suggest getting something light and you'll really feel the handling of the car come out... It'll save some more gas too.

Thanks so much for the help. Still learning. Researching how to add an amplifier to the stock Head Unit. I have the HK upgrade with the amp in the rear of the car but it still doesn't have the punch that I like. I wanna keep the stock radio because of the look and ease of use compared to an aftermarket unit. But the stock Unit doesn't have rca out's.

Yeah, it's really hard to interface with the HK. Most people end up ripping everything out and starting from scratch.[&:]
