Hi Everyone,

I hope someone can help - I have a 2010 Mini Cooper petrol and over Christmas my engine light came on. I done the usual checks and noticed coolant was on min - so filled it up along with oil top up etc as the error code showing was the coolant.

Now the engine light is still on and the fan is making a really loud noise constantly - even staying on around 10 minutes after the engine has stopped. I have checked the temperature gauge and its showing -40 :/ Can anyone tell me if they've had a similar problem or know what it could be thats causing the problem? I'm assuming my temp sensor has gone and i'm sorting it getting replaced - but if anyone has any other suggestions I'd love your help/advice.
