Hello, first post. I just bought a 2012 base model. This is my second day to own one of these cars. This is my question. Are the windshield wipers suppose to slow down when at idle? Thanks for any info?

 

No they're not supposed to.

 

No! Not at all, they aren't supposed to slow down!

 

Nope. But I believe on the first click they are speed sensitive, that is the time it takes between swipe pauses slows down, then when you speed up they go it a shorter frequencies.

But they should not move slow across the windshield , same speed when swiping.

Might be a bad battery if it does.
