Default Newbie Question: is this car a "classic" mini?

Hey gang, I have an opportunity to purchase a 2000 Mini Cooper. It's the old style body. Is this considered a "classic"? And how can I find out what it's actually worth? Thanks,
-Dave

no. a classic mini generally refers to the original mini coopers, which were built in the 50s, 60s, and 70s.
