Question "Owner's Choice" program vs. traditional buy?

I have been looking and getting closer to making a decision. I really like a 2007 Mini w/24K miles for 17.5K (asking)...but was wondering what you all thought about the 2010's and the deals currently.

I live in Illinois so the "Owner's Choice" is an option for me and it looks as if I could save a little each month going this route vs. a traditional buy.

Anyone else ever went the Owners choice route? I believe it is only available in Texas and Illinois. However other states have similar programs.

Let me know your thoughts?

watch closely , there is a balloon payment involved with the program (similar to a lease)

Hi Joe, welcome to the forum, enjoy your stay.

If you can afford to for a used mini from 2010 or 2009.

See you around buddy, by the way whats your thoughts on the Mini SUV? It will come out early next year.
