I just purchased a few performance mods to upgrade my 2013 Mini Cooper S. My question is do I need to purchase a performance chip or can the vehicle be tuned without it. If so, I was looking at a “VR Tuned ECU” brand or “aFe Sprint Booster Power Converter”. I know the vehicle will need to be tuned after I add these parts, the fuel to air ratio will be off. The mods I will be adding are listed below:

-Magnaflow Exhaust (16815)
-K&N Air intake (69-2023)
-Evolution Sport break upgrade

 

Its can be run without it, a tune just helps.

I would get the NM engineering power module and maybe a sprintbooster, they can run together.

thank you for the help, I will try this combination since it’s states it’s specifically for Mini Coopers.

I should also mention that I purchased another product from your company a month ago (the white box). During this process I encountered terrible customer service and attempted to speak to management leaving a voice mail. I never received any contact in return. 5 mins later I spent $2,100 on product from Summit racing. I was in the process of looking for the product on your website while on the phone with a very rude woman. It amazed me that she would act like this with a new customer. Anyway thank you for the help, I will order the product you have listed from your website.
