I am thinking about getting a mini to run around town and the local canyons. I have been reading this forum, scmm.org and listening to the podcast Whiteroof radio. I am finding that the mini owner loves his car, good or bad. First question, what's a GP( nevermind I found this http://gpmini.net/wp/introduction/ ) and can someone recommend the best or worst year mini's to get. Thanks.

 

Early first gens 02;s were problematic (especially automatics)
Some prefer the later first gens 05+ for the Supercharged motors
