New member --> Potential Mini owner.
Hello All,
I am a new member here. I am in the process of shopping for a coupe and the Mini is in the top two ranking. I am now thinking of leasing a Mini since the Mini website mentions that they have lease plans for the car. I have never leased a car before, I usually buy my cars (cash or finance). So since I am new to this method of getting a car, how do I negotiate a lease?
I have a specific monthly payment + down payment in mind. But will dealerships allow me to dictate terms / price of the lease?
Any help appreciated!

It is like any other car lease.
Negotiate your price, which may be close to MSRP anyways.
Of course once established you can always buy down with a capital cost reduction, though the best lease is with as little down or out of pocket as possible.
