Default Proud New Mini Owner

Greetings fellow gearheads!

I just got a 2002 Mini Cooper S (what you would probably call an R53) in April this year. She's dark gray with about 85k miles on her and has the panoramic glass roof. Yes I see her as a "she", and I call her Sabine. My dad doesn't think a gray Cooper S is a girl, but I don't see his logic.

I'm a student from Western PA, but I'm currently living in Ohio for work for the summer and she's how I get around every day.

I have some plans for her, but she's got some stuff that needs done before any of the fun can start. That's part of the reason I'm here is to seek the help of fellow Mini owners and enthusiasts.

I hope we are a welcome addition

Congrats! I picked up an '06 Cooper S a few weeks ago. I so love this car! It's super quick and nimble! I'm looking around for rims right now. What r u planning to do to your Mini? Peace

I'll try to get some pics up soon.

And in regards to things done to it. It's pretty much broken up into what it needs and what I want. I'd like to finish the needs before I start having fun. It has a couple scratches and dents I want fixed and some other cosmetic things like missing floor mats and tears in the driver seat. There's also the rear window washer that is blocked.

Now the taillights need replaced, but I'd like to put customs on it. I already have the wheels picked out I want to put on it, it's just a matter of putting together the money for them. I want rally lights up front and some minor performance upgrades like an air intake and new exhaust to start.

Sounds like a good plan. Good luck with it! And when you ride. Ride with style!
