Hi,

I am going to be purchasing a 2005-2007 Mini Cooper soon for use in college. Most of the time there will not be more than two people in the car. However, occasionally, even though I know they are uncomfortable, I want to use the back to seat for some of my friends. I would prefer a convertible to a hardtop, but I know that they hardtops have slight more rear seat legroom. My question is: is the difference between the hardtop and convertible's rear seat legroom significant enough to opt out of choosing the convertible?
