Default Run Flat Tire Pressure Question

I'm a new MINI owner and it's my first experience with run flat tires...the recommended tire pressure is 35 psi. The tire pressure monitor (first experience with that as well) shows less pressure when they're cold and then the pressure rises when the tires heat up. I took the car on a business trip this week and checked my tire pressure before leaving...34-36 psi...seemed a bit tricky to get them all the same. The next morning, I get in the car to start the trip and check the TPM...it shows 31-33. I went and topped them off again and when I get on the road, the tires show 36-41 psi! I didn't take into account that the tires would heat up. Is it ok to run them at this pressure or are they overinflated?
