Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am a new member here. I was thinking about buying a used Mini S and just want to do some research. I was a BMW owner and got rid of it. It was 13 years old and naturally aspirated. I ended up buying a Genesis G80 but want something to play with. I am a bit of a tinkerer as far as cars go. Just something to drive around locally and run errands with. My question is "Are there any particular models or years that you would suggest?"

Welcome nupespr84!!! I'm fairly new to the Mini world myself but from what I've read the best would be to get a 2013 or newer with the N18 engine. The N14 engines seem to have the most issues.
