Default True Twin Turbo (as in 2 of them)?

This has been bothering me for a while now, but I still haven't been able to find an answer. I tried searching this site and countless others but have had no results. Is there a true twin turbo setup for a 2007 Mini Cooper S? I met a guy a while back (salesman) that claims he has one. It is a true twin turbo setup. As in 2 cylinders are spooled by one turbo and 2 by the other, with 2 cone air filters. I have had many turbocharged and modified cars (WRX, Supra RX7), but I am far from an expert on the subject. Does this exist? If so how would it benefit more than a larger single turbo setup? Seems to stupid to be true. Thank's for the help.

Alta made a twin turbo kit , I posted the link on this site several times I don't believe it only spools 2 cyl per turbo rather it boosts the boost of the first turbo

That is still only one turbo bolted to a supercharger so that it's "twin charged". I'm looking for a kit with 2 turbo chargers.
