Default Thoughts on Installing an EGR Delete Kit?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been researching ways to improve my diesel truck’s performance and came across the EGR delete kit. I understand it’s designed to remove the Exhaust Gas Recirculation system, potentially reducing carbon buildup and improving throttle response.

However, I’m concerned about emissions compliance and long-term engine effects. Has anyone here installed an EGR delete kit and noticed real performance gains? Did it affect fuel economy or trigger any check engine codes? I’m looking for honest experiences, maintenance tips, and legal considerations before making a decision.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!
