I am the second owner of this pristine R53. I acquired it from the original owner in well-maintained stock condition with only 16,500 miles in his 10 years of ownership. The only modification the PO made were the mahogany roof rails, which he hand-made (a woodworker/artist).
I’ve driven approximately 4000 miles in the last 2 1/2 years. MINI mechanics and I made the upgrades/modifications listed below over the last 2 years. My goal has been to have a terrific little autocross car that’s also still fun to drive anywhere. The car was never tracked. I ran the car in autocross 10 times in 2016 but only 2 times this year. I’ve had to stop running in autocross due to severe back issues so I’ve decided to go ahead and sell her.
The car has always been garaged, is rust-free, accident free, and has never seen a salted winter road. The BRG exterior and black interior are both in excellent condition.
