Reduced...Being a little more realitic

2009 Mini Cooper Convertible S turbo/automatic with premium package. Loaded but does not have NAV.After market wheels with new tires. Comes with stock wheels as well, 2 key fobs and owners manual.

Last year during a storm a tree limb landed on a few of our cars.. the Mini was one. Typically it's an inside car but on this occasion it was outside and lightning struck twice. Got the mini (my mothers) and the Magnum (my wifes) My wife and I were on vacation while Mom was taking care of things at home.. Her insurance totalled it before the tree limbs were even removed. Once removed, we were amazed at how little damage there actually was and opted to buy it from the insurance.

The damages were to the hood, headlight, glass, a bent top dog leg (brace) and a mild ding in the 1/4 panel.

I had the windshield and drivers glass replaced with OEM green glass, purchased used OEM hood, a new leadlamp, and repaired the bent dogleg.

Not much left to finish up.. The hood needs proper paint color, the headlight to be installed (old is removed) a paintless techs have told me that they should be able to reapir the 1/4 and some interior trim pieces need to be put back in place.

It has been stored all year and taking up space and to be honest.. I'm too busy and lack the motivation on this project. I did take it for a drive before tucking it back into the shop and it drove and performed as wonderful as it ever did. Purely cosmetic damage.

Anyway.. just wanted to throw a feeler out. The original plan was to let it go for 10 finished since ins. booked it at 14. I'm thinking somewhere in the area of $7500. No more than 500 left to invest so a guy (or gal) could have a really clean low mile R57 Turbo for 8 grand.
