Default Replacing runflats with standard high performance tires - What brand is recommended

Can you tell me what brand tire you are using, and now that its been over two years since your post regarding this change, how are the new tires wearing and handling?

Any feedback would be appreciated.
This was an earlier post in response to formum member STYX who stated that he replaced run flats with standard tires. I am wondering how they have performed i.e. wear and handling and what brand was purchased.

Hi--What / where on the repair kit? Is it a MINI dealer thing, or is it the Wal-Mart 'slime' kit that others describe on this forum?

Run flats are noisy, hard or impossible to fix, and ride like bricks. I have still have mine--in a stack in the corner.
