Default 2009 Mini Cooper S -Engine Lights on

Just recently (Tuesday) replaced all four cool packs and spark plugs. Ran fine for a day. Now the engine light is in the speedometer and digital on steering wheel. Went from check engine to the check engine half orange half black. Started sputtering and there is smoke coming out of the exhaust. Not sure what this could be. Check the oil every other week. Just topped it off last night. Any thoughts would help. Thanks!

Your MINI is in limp mode. You need to plug into your OBDII and read what fault code is present (why your CEL is on). Did you install the correct plugs/coils?
