Hay guys I'm a Navajo silversmith brought myself a 2012 mini cooper s with 64000 miles automatic. Everything been great driving from Phoenix to Los Angeles even in LA traffic for the past few months. Until 1 morning Video of issue the link is a video. I cal hear a clicking from the passenger foot well fuse box when I put my foot on the break and press start. The windows wont row down the high beams work the radio works the remote works the steering column unlocks....and it wont shift out of park. It just shuts off after pressing start. I brought I new battery all ready didn't change anything still wont start. If anyone can help I make some of the best turquoise jewelry I'll hook you up.

 

I have a 2007 with the same problem. I can disconnect the battery for several minutes and that stops the problem for a short period of time and then it starts again. I am looking for an answer to this problem also.
