Hi y'all from way down here in NZ. I bought an 07 Mini with mechanical issues off a friend at an exceptional price (makes it worthwhile fixing). The diagnosis is as follows;
New pads and rotors (L)
Thermostat leak (likely gasket)
Chain tensioner adjustment (likely to need tightening only)
Transmission control valve (Probably not something I could do)

So I'm looking for a source for the things that I can do. Where would be the best place for me to go? I have a BMW mechanic overseeing what I'm doing so I'm happy that I won't go too far wrong (he hasn't got time to actually do the work)
