Default Cannot Shift Out of Park

My 2007 will not let me shift from park. I'm assuming it is brake release solenoid as I was able to use the emergency release function once (and then the tab broke). So, I'm guessing I needed to replace this mechanism.

Has anyone else faced this issue? Any good references for a cheap, direct parts source?

Thanks!

I also had this problem. If you park on steep hills regularly and don't pull the parking brake up before you shift into park, the trans is difficult to shift out of park afterwards. I had it repaired at the dealer under warranty, so I'm not much help as to where else to buy the part. Once I got in the habit of using the parking brake every time I parked the car, I haven't had the issue since.
