Hi,
I have a Cooper Diesel 2009 and it looks like it wont start because it's not getting fuel....
The tank is 3/4 full and I've removed the rear seat and panel to gain access to the in tank pump. I've removed the electrical connector and there are only 2 pins. I've checked the voltage across these pins on the cable when cranking and there's nothing. I was expecting to see 12V
From what I've seen on the web this unit is both a pump and fuel level gauge but this can't be with only two pins. I assume it is only a pump. Has anybody come across this and can confirm that there should be 12V across the pins please? This is the in tank pump with only 2 pins
