2011 S doors won’t open from inside or out.

My daughter has a 2013 where the side doors won’t open from the inside or outside. Each door kept getting worse, she would have to keep cycling the door handle from the outside and finally it would catch but once in the car she would normally have no issue opening to get out until finally it wouldn’t work from the inside or out. Anyone have any experience with this? Since we can’t get the door open it will be tough to get the door pad off.

Weak main battery can do this, did you check the battery. Is it all doors?

 

appreciate the reply! Started with passenger door which just getting worse and worse over time and then switched over the driver’s door and the same senecio of getting worse over time. I would say it took about a year from when it started to when both doors won’t open at all.
