I was driving on the free way and I lost power and engine was still running, if I gave it to much gas it would make a rattling noise. I pulled off the free way and the car died and wouldn’t start so I was like dang my timing chain went out so I got the car back home and tried starting it car turns over but won’t start. So I pulled the valve cover off to inspect the timing chain and it looks completely fine all the guides are completely fine and there is no slack in the chain. So I am stumped on what the issue is. Any ideas would be awesome

 

Pull the intake tube off the turbo and make sure the shaft is stable and spins freely. It would be great to confirm where the rattle comes from. It may be coincidental or even debris picked up from the road that did damage somewhere.
