Thumbs up Faulty Throttle Potentiaometer Sensor on Pedal

Hi,

Twice my mini cooper R56 2007 has gone into limp mode with the engine warning light on. First time the code was cleared by a mobile tuner, around 3 weeks later it happened again and has had a full service etc, and the code has cleared again.

I know I need to buy a replacement part for the pedal, my mechanic suggested we source the part as its a quick fit job that can be done by ourselves.
Do I buy the whole pedal accelerator or just the plug sensor and what does it look like? Where can I get this replacement as there are many different aftermarket parts, I would prefer OEM.

I want to get this done so it doesnt happen again.

Thanks
Its a 1.6 Cooper R56 2007.

Tracey
