Default HELP!!!! mini wont start - battery good, was literally just running at lunch!!

hey, this just happened to me, i just owned the car for a week.

i drove it at lunch, parked it.

went down for a smoke and was going to get a coffee and i go to start it and it makes one click, like it wants to start and then nothing.

i also noticed that the driver side window is not doing the roll down/roll up when the door opens, but the passenger side does.

it gave me an exclamation mark on the warning light that the book says is driver door open while ignition on? pg 39 on owners manual

i need to move the car, please help me out

Default Car won't start

Sounds like a dirty connection if you are lucky.Look at the battery terminals and see if there's any junk om them.A lazy man's way to clean terminals pour coke soda on them and it will eat whatever on the terminals.I put vasoline on the connectors and it slows the corrosion down.

If you are not lucky you may need a new battery.

turned out to be a lose connection at the battery terminal, the dealer did not tighten the negative terminal when they did the work to get the safety papers for new registration.

all good now.

i have to say, this car is really strange when the battery power is low...
