I have purchased an 07 Cooper S and had a couple questions:
- Is there a way to adjust the armrest? It is too low and the emergency brake hits it when engaging the brake. It doesn't seem very stable either.
- I am trying to set the remote lock/unlock to flash lights and sound horn. The only option available is flash lights. Will the audible option only be included if I have the alarm system? That's the only reason I can come up with.
- When opening the sunroof the roof reverses when about half open. If I pulse the switch at that point I can get it to open past the halfway point.

I have the same yr Cooper S and the sunroof had to be reprogrammed because it didn't want to open. I'm still learning the remote stuff too. I only had the Cooper a short time.

 

Armrest is a fixed height but if the former owner pushed too hard they break and lean downward

I don't think sound is an option

Sunroof I'd try inspecting lubing the track you might have an obstruction
if not it could need reprogramming
