Oil leak

Default Oil leak

Hello guys, I have the mini S 2008, today morning just noticed oil leak on the valve cover. Anyone knows what’s the reason? Plz help

could be from that hose on the valve cover. unless its leaking from the valve cover itself. which most of the time wouldnt be noticeable on top of the valve cover. that hose carries oil vapors and can get wet around that area.

I see this on a lot of higher mileage Minis. if you want get some BG EPR and MOA. Before an oil change you run the EPR for like ten minutes and then after the oil change when you're pouring new oil in you add the MOA. It's good stuff and can help with this. Unless you see excessive amounts around where the intake pipes meet I wouldn't worry. Brake clean it off.
