Unhappy R56 Radio issue

Hi all,
I have a '07 R56 where the radio tuner and SAT selections no longer respond. When I select the Audio button on the radio, the Tuner and SAT icons are two dashes. If I select either, the radio simply does not respond. Worked fine the previous day when I parked it! What gives? I've tried disconnecting/reconnecting the battery but there's no change.

Thanks in advance!

Tuner and SAT icons missing
Has anyone seen this before? The Tuner and Satellite icons disappeared and now neither buttons respond. WTF?

Default Did you figure this out?

I have this same issue and been trying to figure it out, what did you do to resolve this?

Was told by the dealer it was the satellite radio tuner under the passenger seat. Fiber signal loss at the tuner. Sold the car before I could find one at a salvage yard.
You might try bypassing the tuner with a jumper. Although I don't know where you might find a suitable laser jumper. Assuming all MINI's of that year are wired the same, those without the satellite radio option might have a factory jumper in place. Worth checking.

Good luck!
