Default Could use some advise aisin transmission troubleshooting

I will try to keep it short.

2008 clubman s with approx 170k miles. Started getting a 3-4 shift flare. Thought it was the K2 Clutch Seal Ring Sleeve issue so ordered the fix kit for that and a general rebuild kit. Turned out the issue was not teh sleeve but a blown seal on one of the pistions. Got it all back together and got a p0970, pressure control solenoid c control circuit low and only had reverse and 5th gear. Figured it was a loose wire/plug. Dropped the valve body, checked everything, replaced the output speed sensor (original one was a bit beat up due to having to tap it out but didnt have the replacment when I put it together so figured I would replace it now). Code cleared up and able to drive. Sport mode was fine but some flaring and bumping in normal mode. Figured it just needed to relearn a bit. Parked for about 4 hours. got back in, reversed out of the garage and when I put it into drive got nothing. Then tried reverse again, nothing. Just revs. Got it back in the garage, let it sit for about 2 hours and it would engage reverse then back into drive and only engaged for a few seconds. Thought it may be low on fluid so added a bit more and no change. No codes and using a scan tool all info seems to look correct. Shows proper gear selections, rpms etc.

I can get a used trans for $200 so will prob pick that up tomorrow and roll the dice. The shame is the engine is fine, doesn't burn/leak oil. The body is perfect, no rust and clean as hell inside and out. Please tell me there is something simple I missed that is causing this! Thanks
