Default Pin hole fuel leak

Newbie mini owner. Doing the right thing, replacing fuel filter. Upon start up, after priming, checking for leaks....previous owner stated fuel smell...technician recommended pump replacement. After removing rear seat, I could tell fuel had been sitting in the sound deadner on passenger side. ANYWAY....I have a very tiny bubbling of fuel coming out of one of the waffle holes. I mean...it would take 30 seconds to fill a thimble (old fart item grandma's have) or a half teaspoon?? I'm mixing up some JB weld to fill the hole as a cheep first try. This can't be common, I'm hoping!!!
