Our granddaughter just bought an excellent '03 base model/5-speed that appears to have been well maintained. But we have no mntce. records and the car has 105K miles.

What should we plan for 100K mile major mntce. items, plus any recommended "while you're in there" stuff. Timing belt? Water pump? Or?

timing CHAIN , tensioner,watepump , I'd do all fluids without knowing when they were last dove

BTW, does this Mini have chain driven cams or belt driven? Just curious.
(Germans like chain drives/Japanese like belt drives...go figure.)
