Ok so first, first time to these forums and im pretty much a huge noob when it comes to mini coopers because its not my car(its my wifes), with that being said, my wife was driving down the street and all of a sudden the electronics of the car, i.e the dash and all the gauges just lost power... and then just as fast as they stopped working, they started back up. It also did that today on the way to work. The radio stopped at the same time everything else went seemingly dead, forgot to mention.

No check engine light, the tire pressure light went on because its ***** hot outside, the days this happend the temp. was 97, and 99 respectively...

any ideas as to what this could be, or anyone else experience this problem?

 

Check/ double check the battery cables/connections
