Mini Cooper intermittent clutch failure
Approximately 10 times over the last 8 months the clutch pedal had dropped to the floor, we have had the master cylinder replaced twice, the slave cylinder replaced once, the clutch fluid drained and changed twice in between, there appear to be no fluid leaks or air in the system. Once the pedal drops to the floor you can pull it up with your foot and then get the car into gear again to limp it off the road, then if you leave the car standing for an hour or so the clutch comes back to life and will work fine for another few weeks - any suggestions would be very welcome as it seems to be an impossible problem!

Sorry no, we even resorted to replacing the whole clutch only for it to re-occur 6 weeks later, finally decided it was the end of the road and got rid of it! Good luck with yours....
