New Base 1.6 2006 Cooper
Just got me a nice used 2006 Mini Cooper 1.6 Base and I love it so far.
The only issue I am having is the Passenger side air bag sensor is allegedly bad. Took it to my local dealership and was told since the airbags are in the seats. I have to replace the seats.. and quoted me 900 bucks.
I have access to viewing THE COST of parts for dealership and a seat assembly is up there in around 1500. What gives? something is strange here.
Any one have any idea? it just sounds like there are giving me the run around?
