Go easy on me--not sure if this is the right place to post this.

Just bought a 2005 Mini w/CVT: 30,500 miles, dealer maintained---trans service done at 23,000. Aware of the numerous posts about CVT problems and not clear if those w/problems followed trans service recommendations or not. Nonetheless, considering buying an extended warranty for this car (have never purchased one before) and wondering about CVT coverage since the language in the contracts that I have read references conventional automatic transmission components.

Any insight? Appreciate your help.
