Default 2003 cooper S whining noise in first gear - will trans fluid help? cant afford trans
I have a 2003 mini cooper S that just started having a loud whining noise in first gear. I am hoping I dont need expensive trans f=work or a new transmission, because I cannot afford that. Will transmission fluid help? and if so what kind? Thanks for any help

No they didnt
The auto was not available on the S model

Not in 2003 but later on first generation R53 came with a Aisin auto.
