Hi guys, my mini cooper was water damaged and i was experiencing electrical failure. I did some diagnosis and found out that my X15 connector was heavily corroded. I picked up another connector from junk yard and planned on crimping the wires together. As I am doing this I have noticed that some wires are the same colour. I have read in previous posts that even though they are the same colour their diameters are different. I cant distinguish the differences between wires because they look identical to me. I have attached a picture so you guys can help me out. Another problem I am experiencing is that the new connector has some wires that my Mini does not. For example, their is a thick balck tube that has three wires joined together in it (black/yellow, black and transparent wires). I am confused as to what I should do here. I have attached a picture for those wires as well. Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks.
