Default Brake Sensor

I have a 2002 Mini Cooper S. Recently the brakes have been making noises and i feel it time to change them. However I will be putting them on myself rather then paying labor fees.

I went to order the pads and rotots but a couple of shops asked me if i had brake sensors on them. I have no idea.. Does anybody know how you know if you have brake sensors or not??

I dont want to have to take the pads off and rotors and find i have the sensor and have bought wrong stuff..

I am sorry if this is posted in wrong spot.. wasnt sure..
Thanks
Pat
