Faulty stereo??
Hi, sorry if this has been brought up before, or if im in the wrong place.
I've recently bought a 2004 Cooper S. It has the harman kardon sound system in it and have driven it twice. After a while it stops playing the CDs and just switches to the radio. When I take the discs out they're burning hot.
I took the stereo out and its just a basic BMW business stereo... is this right or are HK systems supposed to have a different stereo?? I'm supposed to have Boost, I've got the amp and CD changer also, but I like using the disc in the front as it plays MP3s.
I weren't sure whether the stereo was supposed to be an alpine one perhaps?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, or if others have got a HK system and know which model their stereo is... i'm stressing out here
