Default Overheating, Clock Trouble, More ?

My 2006 S is full of coolant/antifreeze, yet all I have to do is sit at a red light and the heat gauge starts climbing. It's not leaking. Also the clock just has lines instead of numbers, and when whether I put it in reverse, drive, whatever, the gauge reads EP. It's been very cold lately and it is sluggish upon starting. Is it the battery?

Heating can be a bad fan or thermostat or sensor .

The EP is a warning check the Manual

Does the clock just need set ?
