R53 Not charging

R53 Not charging
I have been fighting an electrical issue (The worst type of problem to have).
I pulled my 2006 Mini S apart to Service the supercharger and since then I have not been charging. I have pulled it back apart 3 times looking for broken wire, loose ground or connector. I finally replaced the alternator and still have the same issue. It runs 11.4 volts and drains as it runs. Oddly enough, the motor is also making a ticking sound I never had either.
Ideas?
