going to replace the timing chain on my 03 MCS this weekend. i have the chain kit with tensioner and guides. i figure i need a valve cover gasket as it needs to be removed to do the replacement. was wondering if there is anything else i need or should change while im in there. also have waterpump and serp. belt for replacement while i have the car apart.

Spend an extra few bucks and change the Thermostat. The Mini always suffers from leaks do to the plastic thermostat and winds up overheating the car and causing more damage.
