Default Mp3 player

I have an 06 Cooper s. And I was wondering if there was anyway that I could install an aux input for an mp3 player without doing a whole new unit or anything really drastic. Any info would be good!

Thanks!

We just bought an 06 too. I asked the salesman about the iPod connection and he said it was in the back of the glovebox.

Checked a couple of days after we bought the car and nope! Nothing there.

you can have a dealer installed AUX port which will be in the glovebox (my car came with it) or you can buy a cable from cructhfield or other audio company that will plug into the cd changer port in the back of your head unit. just take out of dash plug in and play. cables run 50 to 100 dollars

Hello Minimat!

Phillips makes a 10 dollar hook up if you still have a cassette player in the car. Walmart sells it. My truck happens to still have a cassette player under the CD player but that worked for me and was cheap and sounds real good compared to spending 50 dollars and trying to get the static off the i pod.
