sooo i've got an 06 cooper S in the dark blue w/ black top color scheme. I had this thought just the other day. i was thinking about seeing if i could find gloss black emblems (including the cooper S, mini badges) and then i thought about why stop there, take all the exterior chrome to a gloss black. has anyone seen this done?

so i suppose at this point i need to know how to get the door handle off, and those trim pieces around the headlights off..

thanks definitely helpful and i might use some of those however i do have background in auto body as a painter so i figured id end up just painting them. untill i was on youtube today and saw this jcw cooper s. the trim rings around the headlights were carbon fiber(or probably just a vinyl decal)

my question from this point is where would you draw the line? there's a fair amount of chrome on the cooper. There's the trim around the grille, the door handles, fuel door, headlight and taillight trim rings, both mini emblems, the side marker S emblems and cooper emblem.

this cooper also had the blackjack roof decal that i hadnt thought i would like too much originally but wow did it look good. plus i hadnt thought you could apply those decals over a sunroof but in this video it was. along with the blackjack roof this cooper also had the blackjack Apillar decals. from this i'm wondring would the blackjack decals go with a blue cooper?
