2009 jcw ABS issues

2009 jcw ABS issues
So I have the opportunity to get 2009 jcw Mini that appears to be in amazing shape. The only thing that is bugging me is the ABS issues. There is an engine light and the brake light is constantly on. It is stuck is limp mode? Sports mode one of the two. Is this a difficult fix or should I steer clear? If this isn’t the correct place to post this I apologize.. thanks
