I have a 2016 Clubman S with 58k miles. When I drive for the first time each day, the shift from 3rd to 4th is rough- a hesitation then a bump once it engages. From then on everything’s normal until the car sits for several hours. I’ve worked around it by putting it in manual shift mode, then back off the accelerator when I shift from 3rd to 4th, which doesn’t bump. I then go back to automatic mode.

Has anyone seen this issue? My mechanic hasn’t seen it and isn’t sure of the cause. Thanks for your help.
