Just had my first oil change on a low-mileage 17 Cooper S, and the dealer service sheet includes a line for "Perform Open Recall SI M12 06 17 Program Control Units". The service writer wasn't very forthcoming with info other than to say "it's a software glitch."

Anyone know what that is?

I have no reason to be concerned that I know of, just curious.
