Buying a Used Mini Cooper S - What should I look for?
So as I've been doing tons of research, it seems as if Mini Coopers aren't the most reliable cars. Though no car is 100% reliable obviously. When looking at buying a used Mini Cooper, since the Carfax isn't always the greatest to trust, what should I look for? What should I look for in-depth? How should the engine sound, how should the transmission shift? What should I expect when driving one and what should I look out for?

Sound advice! It's good practice to have a car you're looking at checked out by a mechanic (it also helps bring some peace of mind) - it'll help point out any weak points the car may have (amongst other things).
Great thread. Actually I also join this forum for this stuff. I am also interested in the Mini Cooper but don't know anything about that. Can you please answer me also What you I go for a new one or the used is best. Thanks in advance.
I personally would go for a used MCS - and a few of these come with warranty as well so no need to sacrifice much!
